QotD: Chinese New Year
2008 is the Year of the Rat. Which animal year were you born in?
TIGERRRRRRRRRRRR Which comes up in 2010! So we're not far off!
You're probably not going to want to read the rest unless you are a tiger yourself but it's here for my own benefit anyway. We're not really nice creatures at all come to think about it. = )
THE TIGER
2010, 1998, 1986, 1974, 1962, 1950Full of life, those born under this sign are fearless, noble and bursting with vigour. They are affectionate, generous and have a great empathy for fellow human beings. Their rebellious nature attracts them to adventure and deeds that call for action instead of deliberation. Optimistic, tigers have a great lot of spunk and would rather die trying than give up on their ideals. But beware; tigers are loners who don't care much for company in their quests. Though spunky, they are essentially big babies who need their egos stroked often, and boy do they have huge ones! They are high-strung and easily tense up over trivial matters, allowing jealousy and possessiveness to get into the way of better judgement. Reckless, irreverent and rebellious, tigers think rules are created only to be broken.Tiger people are sensitive, given to deep thinking, capable of great sympathy.
People born under the year of the Tiger tend to have very go-ahead personalities, they love to be the centre of attention and are often very fortunate and full of drive. Although they are often skeptical by nature they can make rash decisions, but above all they are loving, giving, and genuine. They tend to immerse themselves in any of their undertakings and while full of optimism they are not materialistic. Intensity as opposed to logical best describes a Tiger person. At their worst they are stubborn, self-centred and awkward but on the plus side they can also be sensitive and sympathetic. They will go to great lengths to reap their revenge and detest being ignored. As a tiger, life will be filled with just about every emotion and very volatile; and being great optimists life will also be full of many challenges.
Tigers like to work; they are hard-working and dynamic by nature. If you assign a task to a Tiger, the job will be undertaken and accomplished with enthusiasm and efficiency. Optimism, determination and initiative are their strong points. While some projects may succeed because tiger has the drive to see them through to the end, the other will be left in a half - way because of the tiger's inability to deal well with failure.
